loads to say but ohwells. i am such a lazy person..hehe. SAID comp is over, and learnt alot. The adrenaline that pumps just before you enter, the butterflies fluttering in your stomach as your turn nears, and the slow calm that overtakes you when the debate begins. The ground that you gain as you slowly establish your points and takes POIs or decline them politely, all the while trying to smile and appear friendly, acting sure of your case, of your points, even if you arent. debate at it's highest point. bonds at its best. building of experience, being awed by the better speakers, and wondering if you would ever be as good, be better than them. respecting your seniors more, for the sure way they carry themselves on the floor, for the way they can carry it off with absolute sureness, and last but not least, helping us when we are panicking. before the debate agains KC X, the words spoken, the tap on the shoulder helped alot..it seems an insignificant action, but to an anxious person, ohwells, it just helps.(: church was fun, though i seriously had considered ponning it when i awoke with a splitting headache, realised that my throat was so sore i was croaking, and burning eyelids. smsed everyone i knew that would be affected by my absence, and plonged back to bed.awoke half and hour later, and went anyway. (X i am such a good girl. the voice improved considerably after drinking honey. and wells, panadol and off to the busstop. I MIXED UP THE TIME OKAY! i though worship started at 10:00, when it started at 10:30! omg. haha, stoned at 2nd level..(X eastcoast was fun.(: veryvery fun. haha. lucky i went. haha. the rain made us wet, haha, and it drizzled throughout the whole day. but did we have fun. picspics go look for the blogs. too many things to type but here was a joke that chester told us on our way out. what did the sea said to the sand? he didnt say anything, he just waved. -.- |
