this is so gonna be an emo, irrational, undebater, stupid post. ignore it. I love you's are so common, so popular. the first one said hesitatingly, then often enough, then it becomes as common as hello. what then, is the true meaning at the end? I am sorry. 3 such simple words, but such a step down from pride, such a degrading act if you would look at it in that manner. Yes, I am angry, angry enough to give you the cold shoulder. Made me one step madder, and you would have gotten more than just a few sentences of the harsh truth, a piece of my mind. Yes, I would love to slap you in the middle of the crowd, just for the pleasure of making you cringe, hopefully with guilt. Yet, I knew that it would be fruitless, it would degrade not only you, but me myself, so I swallowed the spurts of irritating and directed it to remarks that only you, the person involved would understand. I knew what you wanted from the minute you walked up to me. You knew very well that I would not forgive, that I could no sooner forget the harm you inflicted on me with your sweet nothings. I made excuses for you, I tried to reason out your actions with myself, even when instincts were screaming for me to let go. I was a fool, and you ought to know me well enough to know that I never make the same mistakes twice. Fuming in anger. Yet history repeats itself. But the person involved has grown still, since then. I can walk away, unscathed, and I will. Spurts of irritation alternating with perhaps a hint of jealousy. right. I am done venting. |
